The Humanitarian Crisis Continues

The crisis in Sudan, has continued uninterruptedly since April 15, 2023. Acts of violence, dispossession of homes, theft, and continuous armed battles between paramilitaries and the army continue. War and violence have generated a major humanitarian disaster.

People are seeking refuge in peaceful areas, especially in the north and south of the capital. Latest figures reveal 8 million displaced and 26 million need humanitarian aid for survival (UN sources). In the remote areas of the country many people are suffering abuses, war crimes and ethnic cleansing spilling thousands into neighboring countries.

For months we have been helping two local voluntary associations that shelter thousands of internally displaced people, we send money directly to the heads of these associations who are responsible for providing the necessary aid to the displaced people. With our experience and several people on the ground we have all the necessary guarantees of the successful completion of any payment made to them.

With an ever-increasing crisis, the support of other people is essential to be able to continue in this mission of ours. If you would like to help, you can send your help by following the button below.

Your donation would be supporting Kosti organization, which we mentioned in our previous article, and the Atbara Commission for Voluntary and Humanitarian Action. This association gives shelter to 1.070 displaced people from Khartoum, including 180 families with children. Here they have found shelter in schools, university housing and private homes. The cost of feeding more than 1,000 people a day is about 160 euros. Any amount can be vital for these people in need of help.
